Since they are acquiring older, many times sought after pieces, more times than not, Poppy & Cha Cha only have one of each item listed. If they happen to have multiple quantities of any item, it is a rarity and quantities will still be limited. Poppy (Penelope) & Cha Cha (Chelsea) are a mother/daughter duo born and raised in the great state of Texas. (Although, Poppy is only a baby, so she hasn’t had that much “raisin’” yet.)

Look, this is actually Chelsea writing this. Do you mind if I just speak in the first-person?

I’m assuming you’re okay with it.

So, basically, I was a professional opera singer and Cruise Director when I became pregnant with Poppy. At 5-months-pregnant, I sailed for the last time and decided to hit pause on my singing career. Life had gifted me with Penelope and it was important to me to be with her full-time so I could really focus on being her mother and raising her. 

As my “maternity leave” came to an end, I had no work lined up. (Did I mention I was single by this point, as well?!) I couldn’t go back to the ships, because Poppy was too young to travel with me, and I wasn’t about to go galavanting around the world without my baby. I was slowly rebuilding my private voice studio, but it wasn’t enough. I knew that I needed to figure out a way to support us and I needed to figure it out fast. Fortunately, through a series of events, some prayers, hard work, luck, God, fairy dust - you name it - this business was born. It has turned into a great passion for me (and Poppy, too, of course), as it is ever growing and evolving.

I am truly grateful to every person who has purchased from our little boutique. And I am especially grateful to the customers who not only have purchased from us, but who return time and time again. I appreciate you and I thank you.
